woocommerce transient tables

  • We have woocommerce 2.3.13 installed and I just discovered that there were 12374 pages of tables in our database and all but 90 were woocommerce tables. The tech support at GoDaddy said they were woocommerce transient tables.

    Is this a known issue?

    He removed them but said there was no guarantee that this was a permanent fix.

    Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it?
