You can use Loco Translate and save to the custom location to make your translations update-safe:

However, once you have a custom translation, you are making it your job to keep it updated forever more.

Did you try the Say What? plugin:

Good for translating the odd word or phrase. There are also code snippets for the odd thing that Say What? won’t translate. Either way, you would be leaving the WooCommerce .po alone so the update process works easily.
