They finally released an update – v4.4.1. Not in the regular channels, yet, but it’s on Github where they develop it. It works for me.

@twogringosmedia , thank you for your input!
I have solved. First I had to go inside the host/Cpanel and rename the plugins file, so all the plugins were deactivated. Them with access to the admin I have activated all plugins but woocommerce.
Meawhile, Divi released a update of the theme that worked fine with woocommerce!

    vVery busy stressful morning though!

    Thank you

I’m glad you got it working, but this is a bad move on the theme and plugging developers’s part. The issue is with WooCommerce. Fixing one theme or plugin does not fix the issue. I had one plugin author that ‘fixed’ the issue only to break functionality with WC 4.3.3 (and another WC related plugin). It was so bad that I couldn’t get to the admin page. They had to release yet another update AND it still did not fix anything because I have other plugins that WC 4.4.0 collides with. I also have a problem with the WooCommerce team leaving 4.4.0 up while known issues are occurring. It should have been pulled from the main distribution channels to reduce the impact. This has been quite a mess for such a major WP plugin.

For sure, probably a lot of people a bit desperate this morning as I can see many threads coming up.
But I believe development team should be working on the issue!
