woocommerce updated but still asking for an update

  • Hi everyone! First of all, thank you for taking the time to read my inquiry!

    Woocommerce is asking me to update to the newest version. It says :

    When I click, “see available updates” there is no update for woocommerce. Everything is already up to date so why is it asking me to update?

    Hi @gracenote,

    Could you share a screenshot to help understand the notice better? You might also try clearing your site cache and temporarily disabling WP Rocket to see if the notice disappears. I’ll be waiting for the screenshot.

    Hi Moses! Thank you for your response! I have two screenshots here. Both taken after I followed your instructions to clear the site cache and disable the WP Rocket plugin. I look forward to your feedback.

    Hi there!

    Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I can confirm that WooCommerce 9.7.0 has been released. If you’re not seeing the latest version under WordPress → Updates, please check Plugins → Installed Plugins and see if there’s an “Update Now” link below the WooCommerce plugin title.

    If you still don’t see an update, please try deactivating the Wordfence Security plugin and check again. You can also try deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce to see if that allows the update to appear.
