Has there been an update from woocommerce that messed everyone’s wesites up?

Every website that has woocommerce and php version later than 5.6 seems to show this error message

Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

I’ve been advised that the new update from woocommerce needs to have 5.6 version of php but even when I change that it doesn’t work.

Anyone got any ideas on what’s going on with woocommerce?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You will need to check if the PHP installation on your server has the correct extensions installed and activated. You should be able to do this in CPanel if you have it – or ask your host to make sure the extension is active.

Also – the recommended minimum PHP version is 7.4!

that’s the problem! They were 7.4 but apparently the new update from woocommerce broke every single website that wasn’t 5.6 so I’ve had to change them to 5.6 php version to make woocommerce work!

    Hello,

For better assistance please provide the following information:

Please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

    Thank you!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
