• I know it’s been mentioned here. Did’t get the answer, so I make anothe topic about WC upgrade issue.

The issue: I run WC 4.7, MySQL 5.6, PHP 7.01., WooCommerce 2.5.5 (actually I don’t run them, they run over me every single time).

I pretty much become the most religious person, when it’s time to make a WooCommerce upgrade. Recent 2.69 just crashed my site like 20 times. I turned off ALL! plugins, still crashed my site. I also disabled WC but that crashed my site again. I had to delete the plugin, upload it and reupload my database yet again. So Itried manual and auto uploads, no success. I have a compatible theme.
I never know what the mighty Woo is going to do next time. Since going fullblown white screen makes my stomach sick and my hair even whiter, I decided to ask for some guidance, to save myself the stressful experience.
So any idea what I’m doing wrong in upgrading from WC 2.5.5 to 2.69 would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Martin

Difficult to say here; could be any number of things. Have you tried setting up a staging site and updating there first? That allows you to test things out before committing it to your live site?

Thanks for the tip. I’ve done this in OpenCart, but in WP I don’t know how to do it manually (mean manually replacing all the URLs via editor in the database etc.) Any tip about this? I’ve not found anything about duplicating WP sites (apart from using paid plugins) manually.
    Thanks.
