• Hello gang!
after changing my woocommerce url parameters my website doesn’t load correctly and the login page has also disappeared.
Here’s how it all started. I wanted my website to say https://www.mywebsite.com/ but I noticed it says, https://www.mywebsite.com/?v=e5477cbee260. I googled it and found out that it says to go into the Woocommerce → Settings → General → Default Customer Location and select anything but Geolocate with geocaching support, I did exactly that and within seconds my page went blank and couldn’t undo the changes and I cannot login to the admin login page anymore, I’m completely locked out. I currently do not have any active backup to roll back to. The wp-admin login page is not accessible.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

if you can access your wp-content folder (in your webhosting account or via FTP)
you can temporarily rename the plugin folder (rename to something like plugins-off)
this will likely let you back in to your wp-admin area.

create a backup of your database and files and investigate further before reactivating woocommerce plugin.

    Thanks Lisa!
I did try that it didn’t work, however, prior to checking out this forum, I went into my cpanel and deleted the security plugins that I use,I also use it to rename the login page, now I could login to the website thru the wp-admin login page ONLY via front end of my website, so what I mean is that, just like signing up to a website, I visit my website and it says create your account or sign in, when I sign in, it sees me as the admin, BUT the WP tabs, like the dashboard, plugins, theme, customize, etc… returns me to a page nt found whenever I click on it.

I could see all of the above tabs but the background color is just plain white and when I click on any of these tabs, I get, “Page cannot be found”. I’m looking at hundreds of hours and two months of work going down the drain because I simply forgot to turn on the automatic backup.

    Hi @preechamon,
grab a cup of coffee (or tea I won’t judge). We’ll get through this together.
Create a backup of your site, including database, by following the instructions on this page.

Are the links for dashboard etc pointing to your site and to the correct place? After clicking on the link does the address bar show the correct address?
    (Dashboard should point to https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/index.php)

Are there any error messages displayed?

Take a look at the error log for your site. It may give us a clue on what went wrong.
