Woocommerce using PayPal Express checkout, missing required billing fields

    Hello, when a user tries using PayPal Express checkout, it redirects to pay pal and then comes back to website in which should complete billing information. But only telephone field is displayed and when the user tries to proceed, alerts of missing required fields are displayed.

    if billing information are retrieved from paypal directly, the validation of these fields should not be active.
    Sorry I’m pretty new to this so I’m not sure how it should work.

    I figured out what the issue is. When they checkout, it keeps wanting them to put a required field (apartment ect) that isnt there. You need to add the plugin “Woocommerce Checkout Manager”. Once you activate it. Go to the settings and in BILLING and SHIPPING turn OFF the “Apartment, suite, unit etc.” and that should fix your issue. It worked for me! Hope this helps.

    Your question is on PayPal Checkout which is a separate extension that has its own support forum. Please ask your questions over there: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout/

    I’m assuming that you’re using the official PayPal Checkout extension.

    As for the problem, if you’re using the official extension, it could be because you have the Require billing address option enabled in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > PayPal Checkout. Please disable the same. This should fix the issue.
