Woocommerce Variable Product Quantity Question
-
Hi I am quite new to this forum thing but I figured someone here might be able to offer some advice. On my site i have products that have different options that they can have example:
A pendant of mine can be bought with no cahin, witha a 16″ chain, or with 18″ chain. I was wondering if i enter a quantity on each variable is there a way to have that still go against the over all quantity? Because with or without the chain if anyone buys any of the options it is still going against the over all pendant inventory (which is 50) and i still need a way to manage the chain inventory itself so if 40 people buy pendants with chains (20 of each of the 2 sizes) no more orders for pendants with chains can be placed and it will reflect that there are only 10 pendants wish not chain left in stock. I was hoping there is a simple way to accomplish this without having to religiously watch the orders coming in and then editing the products manually each time one of the options is no longer available
I know this is a rather confusing question, I am trying my best to explain it properly but i realize its quite confusing.
