I created a Variable Products but it is not showing up with Simple products in the main tab Display of 6 products when I select the products Tab? I had is showing up once but for some reason it has disappeared?

Also, Can I have more than 6 products being displayed in the products tab page?

If you look at the url for the page in your screenshot, does it contain /product-category/donate-for-great-content/ ?

If you assign your variable product to your donate-for-great-content category, it should appear on that page.

The number of products per page will be set somewhere. It can be set to as many as you want. If you have more products than the number per page, you should see pagination under the products to allow you to go to the next page of products.

Hi Lorro, Thank, I got it to show up. I remembered unchecking donagate-for-great=content category and that is when it disappeared. I did not put 2 and 2 together? It shows up now! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

On increasing the number of products per page from six to X, I could not find any “Pagination”? If you could be a little more specific that would be great? I looked in pages, products, & Setting? Could not find it?

Also, on another note, in system settings I have this message:

    MaxMind GeoIP Database:

The MaxMind GeoIP Database does not exist – Geolocation will not function. You can download and install it manually from https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/legacy/geolite/ to the path: /home1/awardzon/public_html/wethepeopletogether/wp-content/uploads/GeoIP.dat. Scroll down to \”Downloads\” and download the \”Binary / gzip\” file next to \”GeoLite Country\”

What is MaxMind GeoIP Database: Is this something I should consider?

    Thanks Tony D.

I think the default maximum number of products per page is 12. Some themes have a setting in their customisation screens for your to be able to change the value. If not, there is a code snippet you can use. This setting applies to both the shop page and any category pages.

If your number of products exceeds your setting, pagination is automatic. There is no setting to turn it on.

The MaxMind is needed if you set “default customer location” to “geolocate” in WooCommerce > General Options. You might want to do this if you charge different taxes depending on where the customer lives. Its also allows WooCommerce to show the shipping methods that apply just to that location. Its not 100%, but useful to give the customer a heads-up on tax and shipping before they enter their address at checkout. Download should be automatic if you set “geolocate”.
