Hi there ,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand you’re experiencing speed issues after updating to WooCommerce 8.9.3.
Here are a few recommendations you can try to see if this helps speed up your site.
Let us know how it goes.
@ckadenge That solutions is terrible, and you didn’t even read YOUR customers reply as none of those solutions will fix what is happening and are completely generic. I didn’t even ask the question, but given that response I’m insulted. Come on, read the actual problem. File a support ticket, solve the bug, produce a product with lesser bugs, get less support problems, so that you can actually start helping your customers.
You all are ignoring the reported bugs, that creates more bugs, which fills your support query. Its a never ending cycle, and any information systems professional (or person understanding basic business logic) can see what is happening. Its called shooting yourself in the foot.
BTW, I’m also having massive performance issues from Woocommerce’s latest upgraded. But I’m using custom software (wordpress) so I won’t expect support.

As I understand, you are also having performance issues on the website after the update, correct?
I’m not able to replicate this issue on my website, so we need to investigate it further to see why this is happening on yours.Per WordPress forum guidelines, would you mind opening up a new thread for this so that we can keep things organized and offer more personalized support for you? Have a wonderful day!
I have the same problem. In recent days I have only been busy with emails about the urgent update of woocommerce. Several web shops are simply so slow that customers lose sales because websites simply no longer work or are so slow that their customers leave. I have also heard from several hosting parties that since the last update there have been a lot of support questions about slow websites. Please resolve this. can’t be working on this 24/7. The solutions you provide in an earlier comment are all known and have already been implemented where necessary. After the last update, many websites virtually go down. Solve this.

Hi there @joostie1,
We understand your concern regarding the slow performance of your web shops after the recent WooCommerce update.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, as per forum best practices, I suggest that you start a new thread with your case, so that we don’t mix several troubleshooting sessions in one thread.
Even if the symptoms are the same, perhaps the underlying problem is different in your case.
I was reading the developer advisory blog, checking on what the issue was causing the need to update to ver. 8.9.3 . As the issue is the “Order Attribution” feature deployed in January, you may want to try deactivating it in WooCommerce Settings/Advanced/Features, and unchecking “Order Attribution” to see if that helps.
I also see people were creating tickets about it before the security vulnerability was patched, impacting website speeds as a ton of extra scripts were being deployed on every webpage. While they improved the performance of the feature, the patch may have set that back as it is a critical security resolution over performance.
This may not be the full issue of the latest patch but it may help a bit in specific cases.
I’m also having the same problem. Massive performance issues from Woocommerce 8.9.3.
