WooCommerce with inventory showing out of stock
-
I have searched the internet and found nothing exactly to what I am experiencing. I have a brick and mortar store front with a point of sale system (POS) called Keystroke. I also have 2 different web sites running woocommerce. I have a plug-in that uploads my inventory and pricing from Keystroke to the products I have created in WooCommerce. It works great, it automatically as a task on my server every 10 minutes. It also downloads all my woocommerce orders into my brick and mortar POS. This program keeps my inventory synced between my store and on my woocommerce.
Here’s my issue. About a year ago I noticed that items with inventory (both regular and variable items) were not showing on my web store front. I look at the product through the dashboard and the item is there with inventory and pricing. It says in green “In-Stock”. But it does not show on my web store page. If I go into the product and just change something, just about anything and save it, it corrects itself.
One of the easiest ways to find these products with this issue is to sort my products either by in-stock or out of stock using the filter on the product dashboard. Out of stock items with this issue will show using the in-stock filter and in-stock items with this issue will show in the out-of stock filter.
Steps to resolve:
#1 – two different web sites with different themes having the same issue.
#2 – Switched to the 2020 them and now the 2021 theme with no change
#3 – All plug-ins and themes are updated
#4 – Disable all plug-ins with same issueNot sure what else to do. It seems that the inventory and pricing updates but it is like woocommerce doesn’t realize it. I have to “wake it up” so to speak by going into the item and change something, anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
