Woocommerce & WP Settings – Simple Question

    Hi,

    I have been using Woocommerce for some time and I really like it. I just have a simple question and I can’t find an answer anywhere.

    On my website, I allow users to create their own accounts when they buy one of my products as well as to buy without an account. I just noticed that on my WordPress settings, under General, I have the option “Membership” ticked. So, I have been getting some spam. This is not the issue at the moment. My question is:

    Can I disable this “Membership” option in the WP general settings and my clients can still create their accounts (I’m using Woocommerce)?

    Correct?

    WooCommerce makes use of the WordPress user system.
    This needs to be turned on. Otherwise your customers cannot create new accounts.
