I am unable to get the Zoom effect to work on the product images. The lightbox opens when I click on the magnifying glass icon at the top but when I click on the product image it opens as a direct image link in the browser. The image should open the lightbox on click not direct link to the image.

And yes I have turned on the Zoom effect and Lightbox option in the customizer.

I have tried disabling the plugins but it didn’t solve the issue.

I’m using the theme on my localhost, I wanted to try out the theme before using it on my production site but I’m facing many issues. One other bug I found was that I cannot import the theme customizer options because of that I had to manually change all the settings.

I don’t know If I’m encountering all these bugs because I’m on a local machine or it will still be there on the production site.

  • Hello @zyekil

I have just tested the Lightbox and Zoom effects on my end and everything worked fine. Are you completely up to date? Have you modified any theme files? Without taking a look at your website, it is extremely hard for us to say the probable cause of the issue.

Now, regarding the customiser import/export options, they actually work, but only if you disable the widgets export, or use the Classic widgets plugin. This is actually an issue from WordPress itself, with its new 5.8 widgets system. We hope 5.9 will bring some long awaited bug fixes. The only workaround for this is to disable widgets exporting, or use the classic widgets plugin.

    Thanks

After deactivating all plugins and then reactivating one by one I found out that the conflict is with the Dokan plugin.

Basically the <img role="presentation" alt="" src="" ....> is missing from the page when the plugin is activated.

Is there any way to fix this? I’m using the Free version of Dokan. You can download and test on your side.

As for the Import options do I need to also need to uncheck the widget option when exporting?

    Hello @zyekil

We will thoroughly investigate the Dokan issue and see if anything needs to be done from our side. We’ll get back to you as soon as we find something.

Related to the import/export, yes, simply deactivate the widgets option, or install the Classic Widgets plugin. Any method is ok — though, if you’ve used block widgets, they will be erased if you switch to the Classic Widgets plugin.

    Thanks
