After updating woocommerce to version 8.5.1, the back-end of the Google Merchant Center section no longer shows anything and in the log there is the following error:

[Wed Jan 24 16:01:50.891428 2024] [error] [pid 1608009] mod_proxy_fcgi.c(902): [client 130.25.25.7:0] AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Warning: foreach() argument must be of type array|object, null given in /data/sites/web/abruzzostockit/www/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/src/API/Google/MerchantReport.php on line 78'

Downgrading to woocommerce 8.4 and everything worked again

  • We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

I see a new version of WooCommerce 8.5.2 was released to address the issue with the previous version. I recommend updating to the latest version.

As a best practice, please ensure to test the update on your staging site before implementing it on your live site. This helps prevent any unexpected disruptions and ensures a smoother transition.
