Woocommerece order status did not change when payment is made through Paypal

    Fehler bei Statusübergang. Couldn’t find matching email in sites’ users and guests.

    Order status works fine on cash option but when customer opt for paypal payment method the order get completed but admin and user dont receive email and woocommerece order note said the line”Fehler bei Statusübergang. Couldn’t find matching email in sites’ users and guests.” we have to manually send the email to customer and have to resend new order notification. we are using paypal payments by woocommerece plugin.

    To reproduce error choose paypal method and book.

    On order completion new order notification should be send to admin and order completion mail to customer

    Mails are not initiated when payment is made through paypal

  • Hi,

    Sorry to hear that you are facing this issue.

    Can you please do the following:

    Switch the site’s theme to Storefront, and disable all plugins except WooCommerce and Paypal Payments, then please create a test order to see if the issue persists.

    In order to run this test you can use a test environment, we recommend WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

    If the issue is not present, you can switch back to the original theme, and then reactivate the plugins one by one and checking again after each reactivation until you find the cause of the issue.

    @ashbal91 Were you able to find a resolution to this issue? I am experiencing the same issue but I have narrowed it down to PayPal Express and Stripe payments only. Regular PayPal payments appear to be working fine.

    I understand you are experiencing the same issue and since every site is different and you’re not the person who originally started this topic then, per the forum guidelines, would you please start your own topic?

    Additionally, please include your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

    If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    I have the same issue since I installed ShopMagic. The order had a different email in the Invoice details than set for the account I was logged in.
    Once I change the mail to match the account, it worked.
