Woocommmerce product Non-!ndexable

Thanks for reaching out about your product slug. I visited the old URL (https://www.trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark%E2%80%936-trap/) and got a 404 error; I believe that’s expected.

The new URL (https://www.trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark6-trap/) loads fine for me without a redirect or noindex tag:

Can you let me know if I visited the wrong URL?

Hi, the new URL loads because we put in a redirect but no matter what we do, it comes up as non-indexable. I

t’s one of out key products and if google won’t index it, then we have a problem.
We have tried deactivating/re-activatig Yoast plus switching and resaving the advanced settings but it will not set as Indexable.
Why would that be?

I used several tools to test https://www.trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark6-trap/ and there is no redirect on the URL. It has no noindex tag:

Also, the product shows up in search results. See screenshot.

That is indeed weird, because I have just put it https://trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark6-trap/ in to Google search console and the result can be seen on this link together with the snap from Screaming Frog

The URLs are different. In the beginning, you referred to the WWW version of the URL, and that’s what I’ve been testing – https://www.trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark6-trap/

You just provided the non-WWW version – https://trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark6-trap/. There’s a 301 redirect to https://www.trapbarn.com/product/fenn-mark6-trap/ (the WWW version). The Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t handle the redirect. Instead, WordPress is responsible (x-redirect-by WordPress).

Since there’s a 301 redirect from the non-WWW version to the WWW version, the WWW version is indexed, as referenced in my screenshot.

My apologies, I see I inadvertently omitted the “www” from the my last post.
It seems to be indexing now perhaps Google just got round to doing it following my indexing request yesterday.
