    We opened a web store using Woocommerce and Woopayments/Stripe on December 21, 2023. We did a test run of a real payement on that day. However it is still processing. Is this the norm?

    Hi @njambassador,

    Typically, the money you’ve made with WooPayments flows through several states before being deposited into your bank account. You can find more details here: https://woo.com/document/woopayments/deposits/deposit-schedule/

    By the way, if the payment status on WooPayments/Stripe is “succeeded”, but WooCommerce still shows it as “processing”, please try to update the order status in WooCommerce manually. If the issue persists, we might need to investigate further.

    This is very helpful. Thank you so much. Question: When is the merchant notified by email? When the transaction commences? Or when it is completed? So far, nothing has come through.

    Hi @njambassador

    The merchant is notified by email for New Orders, Canceled Orders and Failed Orders. If you haven’t received any notifications, it’s possible that they might have been directed to your spam folder, or there might be an issue with your email settings.

    Please check your spam folder and also verify your email settings in WooCommerce.

    Please note that, In most cases, if an email is not being sent/received, then the issue is not with WooCommerce itself but with the email function on your web host.
