We have found that a few of our subscriptions were cancelled. The notes say that they were cancelled in the following manner: Subscription status changed by bulk edit: Status changed from Active to Pending Cancellation.

And then the same note that it was moved from Pending to Cancelled.

We had at least 2 subs that we know of that were cancelled in this manner, but we didn’t cancel them.

    Is there a way to:
    A) audit these further to see in what manner that they were cancelled?
    B) check other cancelled subscriptions during that same period (or day) to see if any other subs were also cancelled mistakenly that day?

We do have AutomateWoo plugin, but not sure if that would be able to give us what need.

Any ideas would be great to hear.

    Hi there

I’m sorry to hear that there have been unexpected cancellations of subscriptions on your site. Let’s try to get to the bottom of this. Here’s what we can do:
    A) To audit the cancellations further:

    1. Check the WooCommerce > Status > Logs section of your WordPress admin to look for any activity that may be logged around the time the subscriptions were cancelled.
    2. If you’re using a plugin for logging activities, such as Activity Log, review the logs for entries related to the subscription cancellations

      B) To check for other potentially mistakenly cancelled subscriptions:
    3. Navigate to WooCommerce > Subscriptions and use the filter options to sort subscriptions by their status (to find ‘Cancelled’ ones) and by date to locate other subscriptions cancelled on the same day.
    4. Consider exporting a list of cancelled subscriptions for the date range in question for easier analysis.

Alternatively, you can contact your hosting provider to check if they have any built-in features to review the site activity logs and identify who made those changes. You could also reach out to the AutomateWoo plugin support to inquire if there are any settings within the plugin to enable activity logs or generate a report on the changes.

    Thank you
