• Hello all,

I use the premium news theme from WooTheme. All works fine but i have got a small problem with the post images. They say

Our themes use a custom image resizing script (thumb.php) which will dynamically resize, crop & create an image in the appropriate size needed for the template, i.e. the featured tabber and thumbnails for archived posts.

Ok, the problem is that when i create a post and try to add an image, the image is not showing up in the post.

Does anybody recognizes this? Anyone who can help me out here?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

I just installed WooThemes Original Premiun News and got the same problem.
My image gets displayed inside the post but no photo is shown in the Feature Area on the Homepage (both, the big and the thumb pictures are missing).
I’ve checked the option in Settings > Media to “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” and I can see that after adding the photo in my post it saves it in the right year and month folder inside uploads, cerating also 3 smaller versions of it (150, 300 & 1024 px).
    What am I missing?
    Kind regards,

    Jose

Update: in case it helps, the URL of the thumb on the Homepage is:
    https://127.0.0.1/demo/wordpress/wp-content/themes/premiumnews/thumb.php?src=demo/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/DSC_1250_1-300x195.jpg&w=100&h=57&zc=1&q=90
… as I said, it doesn’t get displayed though the file does exist at:
    https://127.0.0.1/demo/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/DSC_1250_1-300x195.jpg

The same could be said about the photo in the slider. The links points to demo/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/DSC_1250_1-300×195.jpg where it’s actually hosted.

    Any help appreciated!
