Word "Category" is in a category link…. Way to remove or add to permalink?

If you just want to change it from being category to something else, that can easily be done at the Settings > Permalink page, under the actual permalink settings.

If you want to get rid of the word category all together, you can do that via some code or a plugin. There are both solutions found here.

Thanks….. Hmmmm…. Looks iffy.

Oh well.

I would just go with the plugin, as that is easier then modifying any files. I’ve never used it but it seems to have good reviews and should do what you want.
