Word Count Function Used in WordPress

    Can any one point me to right direction or help me in finding the function WordPress uses to display word count of post in wysiwyg editor ? Thanks in advance.

    P.S I don’t need those custom function for counting words of post content, I need the code/function used by WordPress.
