word in // in local and online

  • Hi all,
    very sorry for this beginner question.

    I started my wp using localhost.
    Now, I have migrate it online on my servor.

    In order to make some test, and avoid a crash of my online website, I would like to make some test on my localhost.
    Is it possible to be logged on my : https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin and in the same time on the localhost wordpress ?
    Is there any connection between both ?

    How about my loggin and password ?

    One more time, very sorry for this stupid question. Hope I will find some help.

    sounds like you have the identical setup locally and online (same password, same username, same content etc.).
    Still there is no connection, as both environments are independent instances.
    So you can test safely on your localhost ??
