    Hi!

First off, this plugin is fantastic! It is exactly what we needed for this site, and the ability to customize all of the elements in the shortcode is sooo great! Thank you!

We only have one little glitch in that the content_words_limit=”10″ element isn’t working for us. We’ve tried multiple lengths and it just shows the full excerpt.

Not sure if this is a conflict with our theme, or if it’s a plugin issue, but we would truly appreciate any advice on how to get that element to work.

    Thank you so much!

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching here.

Please try this shortcode parameter (Ex: [wpspw_post content_words_limit="10"]).

Note:- Please do not copy and paste the shortcode parameter because if cause the quote(“”) issue writes manually.

Please let me know if you have any other query.

    Thanks,

    Hi!

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately this is the code we already have in place and it still doesn’t apply. We did read about the quotes in another question, so we made sure to manually add those already.

We have it set to 10, but as you can see at the link we provided, the limit does not apply. Is there anything else we can do to get this to work properly?

    Thank you so much!

    Hi!

Here is the direct shortcode we are using. As you can see we have the content code just how you say to have it:

    [wpspw_post content_words_limit="10" grid="3" limit="3" show_tags="false" show_comments="false" show_author="false" show_category_name="false" pagination="false"]

And you’ll see at the link we provided above that the full excerpt still shows. It seems that it’s showing “first sentence” and won’t go shorter than that no matter what we set the word limit to.

    Hi!

We went to that site and opened the Live Chat and tried to get support, but no one responded to the chat.

We’re just trying to get an answer to this question please for this plugin:

The content_words_limit=”10″ element isn’t working for us. We’ve tried multiple lengths and it just shows the full excerpt.

    [wpspw_post content_words_limit="10" grid="3" limit="3" show_tags="false" show_comments="false" show_author="false" show_category_name="false" pagination="false"]

The link to the page we are using it at is in our original question.
