• On my home page the words are overlapping the link buttons on the right side of the page. https://www.acreia.org When I go into my editing page I am not able to change the size of the text boxes, it just doesn’t allow me to make any changes. The other pages seem to be fine, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix the main page!! PLEASE HELP!! Plus I can’t get any of the previous revisions to show up in plain english, and I don’t know how to read the code.

  • You have some pretty serious Validation errors.

This can be caused by stray HTML tags in your content areas, sidebar areas, widget areas, or anywhere else you add HTML to the final rendered page.

Unfortunately, you have some digging to do. I’d suggest looking at that page you are using for your home page.. and validating the HTML there. If that is good, move on to the widget areas that are also rendered on the homepage. Make sure the HTML is valid there as well.

Since I don’t know anything about html I couldn’t tell if there was anything wrong… but I had my husband look at it, and although it’s been years since he’s done anything with html he said there is probably 10x more code that should be there. The other pages are fine, just the main page. I was thinking about wiping it all out and redoing the whole main page. Unfortunately I’m worried that I wont be able to put it back together… but it looks like it’s just text. This was inherited to me after the previous admin set it up, so I’ve just been deleting old text and copy/pasting the new.
