Word Press Fatal Error

  • Hello,

    I am having issues getting into my Admin side of WordPress. When I enter my login information I get this prompt :

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_json_encode() in /home/content/66/12051766/html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 668

    I have already tried to replace the function.php file and that prompted a new code. Therefore I had replaced the file with my old one.

    I don’t want to loose all of my information, therefore I am very cautious about re-installing WordPress.

    Not sure which version of WordPress I have. The automatic update link does not function.
