Word press in combination with web hosting

Dear all,

Need your help / assistance.
I’m investigating the possibilites for starting a website. I’ve found some information for webhosting with one.com however i also like to use wordpress. My website will go about football travel information. Could you pls advice me how to start and which programmes to use?
