Word press woo commerce website showing out of stock products

Good afternoon

My word press woocommerce website shows out of stock items even though each of the products are individually set to hidden once item is sold out, specifically when searched for in the search option under (all results and shop results). How do I stop this from occurring as I do not want the out of stock items showing on the search results if item is searched for.

Note products do not show in the product catalogue when set to hidden which is a good thing.

Any ideas or tips please?
