Since I don’t use polylang myself, any idea what fields they are using? Maybe the transient fields? I don’t see any reason why it will remove any plugin (be it polylang or others) settings

    Hi!
I had the same problem and I guess it is related to Orphaned Term Relationship. If swept, Polylang breaks and all settings, translations are lost.

    I can confirm that.
I guess Polylang uses term relationships to relate translations to originals. It affects everything – posts, pages, taxonomies, terms, slugs, options, you name it.
Is there any way to make Sweep aware of Polylang insertions?
Maybe a check for Polylang presence, or even a more generic check for metas and relationships registered by other plugins?

I can also confirm that the translation options of a site I built using Polylang broke after using WP-Sweep.
One of the flags wasn’t showing in the frontend anymore and wasn’t editable in the backend; the only solution then was to delete the language, insert it again and assign all images and posts to it over again…
I’m very careful with sweeping that site, now.

*edit: sweeping anything but terms and options seems to work fine.
