Word-WordPress still doesn’t work — XMLRPC enabled

  • When I try to blog from MS-Word and it is trying to regisster the blog I keep getting an error message: the provider that you are trying to publish is not available. My site is https://www.ianandmyrarowlands.com/wordpress. I have enabled XML-RPC and ATOM protocols in the WordPress “Write” settings. I have tried disabling my firewall in case it’s a firewall issue. It didn’t help.
    I am not sure what to do if it is a WordPress issue or it is my website host??

  • Make sure that the provider you chose in the setup dialog in MSWord is still “wordpress”, and then double check that your settings include both your sub-directory and the xmlrpc file in the address,

    //www.ianandmyrarowlands.com/wordpress/xmlrpc.php

    ….and that the account user name and password are correct.
