    Hi There,

A client of mine, who uses the Divi theme, was having trouble with making changes and getting them to save. She would make the changes click save, exit the Divi visual builder and the changes would not have saved. This problem was only affecting sections and modules that are saved as gloabl sections and modules in Divi.

I went through all her plugins deactivated and reactivating them to see if any of them were creating the problem. Once the Wordfence plugin was deactivated any changes made to global items saved properly with no issues.

How do I fix the issue once the Wordfence plugin is activated?

    Thanks,
    Amy

Hi @amymcdesign, thanks for reaching out to us!

Have you already tried reenabling Learning Mode to ensure we’re not hitting a false-positive with a save action in Divi? You can read more about this (and also a method of allowlisting from the Live Traffic page) here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/

It’s possible that the failure you’re seeing is down to an incorrectly blocked plugin action that should be solved by trying the above methods. Live Traffic should present you with an “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST” button if you trigger a block then check the page for it afterwards.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

Performing the task when wordfence was in learning mode helped me fix the issue.

    Thanks for your help.
