• Wordfence shows Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/easy-fancybox-settings.php

This has happened on 3 sites I use this on. If you (the developer) are doing it please be aware it does set off security alerts however you are doing it. Your making me fear I’m being hacked and uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin. I don’t worry if its a read me file but php file changes are another matter.

If not, you should be aware something is going on.

Also this is the only plugin I get this error:
WordFence API error: An error occured trying to open the requested file.
I would assume it to be wordfence except it is very consistently only this plugin. Makes me wonder if there is a conflict.

  • That’s strange… Since when are you getting this alert?

There has been a small change to the readme.txt (Wordfence warning about a translator’s URL being spam) two months ago but not easy-fancybox-settings.php

Could you please make a copy of that file and send it to me? You can contact me via https://status301.net/contact-en/ or use the email address in the header inside easy-fancybox.php

    Thanks for your feedback!

Sorry I had already deleted and reinstalled the plugin. But its happened a few times so if it happens again I’ll let you know and grab the file.
