One of my client sites has been deleted from my server, and their DNS pointed to their new site. But, I continue to get Wordfence alerts (Woocommerce needs an upgrade).
How can I stop these since they are no longer relevant?

    Thanks,
    Roger

  • I would assume that their site on the new server is running WordFence as well?
Also that they ported over the database and WordFence configuration from the old server?

So… Could it be as simple as their configuration of “Where to email alerts” still lists your email address as the destination to “talk to”? ??

    Hi @rweiss23,

Indeed, as @crudhunter pointed out, if the site was moved (copied) to another server without any change to the Wordfence configuration, then your email address is most likely still specified in the “Where to email alerts” field.

I suggest you reach out to your client so they can modify the address Wordfence will send alerts to.
