    WordFence Medium Issue Alert:

    Filename: /homepages/46/d839755908/htdocs/nametakenout/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/public/js_cache/calendar.js

    File Type: Plugin

Details: This file belongs to plugin “All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly” version “3.0.0” and has been modified from the file that is distributed by www.ads-software.com for this version. Please use the link to see how the file has changed. If you have modified this file yourself, you can safely ignore this warning. If you see a lot of changed files in a plugin that have been made by the author, then try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin to force an upgrade. Doing this is a workaround for plugin authors who don’t manage their code correctly.

    Question:
Can I overwrite that file with a fresh one by downloading the plugin and using the exact one without losing any events that are listed on the site?

    OR:
Is this normal and is WordFence tagging it as a Medium Security Issue because we have checked the box for “Use advanced JS cache” ???

    Hi @exdesign

    Thanks for reaching out!

The cache area/folders of the plugin gets re-written when things change. These files are effectively compiled versions of the .twig files, and if the twig files change, then the content of these files will change as well. This avoids the twig files being processed every time (which would severely slow down the calendar).

We have released a new platform in the meantime where this problem does not exist, so we recommend you to move your events to the “new platform”. We would be more than happy to help you with that. Just contact us through this FORM, and we will guide you through the process.

    Sincerely,
    Ben | Timely Customer Support
