Wordfence and WP 5.2

    I updated WordPress to 5.2 on a simple site. No big problems but when I access Tools > Site Health it flashes the page, then changes to a white page with only the timedate stamp on it.

    Stirpping it down to default theme and no active plugins I worked my way up until….WordFence is the plugin that’s conflicting and doing this.

    Is there a setting or something I can do? Or does WF need an update to take care of this?

  • Hi @maddogprod,

    It’s possible that Wordfence is blocking some assets on your site.

    Can you go to Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic, and see if anything is being blocked there?

    I had the same issue with Wordfence. Upon reviewing the logs, I found that Wordfence blocked the server IP address. I unblocked the server IP and added it to the Whitelist and now everything works as it should.

    Thanks. That’s exactly what happened and whitelisting the server IP did the trick.
