I am trying to make changes to a form on my website (the plugin I am using is Super Forms). However, whenever I try to make changes, it gets stuck on ‘Saving…’. I checked the error.log file for my website and it turns out it’s related to modsecurity and perhaps the file size limit. Do you how I can find this file and modify it or more simply, is there some setting on wordfence I can change that will allow greater file size uploads?

    Thanks

  • Hi @owentadrcentre

    Thanks for reaching out!

    From our documentation:

ModSecurity is an open source web application firewall that can generally be configured to augment what a recommended WordPress security plugin like Wordfence does in a compatible way.

You may find that your host has ways to administer this through your hosting control panel, or in some cases the /etc/httpd/conf.d/mod_security.conf file has to be modified to increase the SecRequestBodyLimit value. I’ve seen some people recommend altering from 131072 to much larger values like 6MB (~6000000) but your host may be able to help further.

    Thanks,

    Joshua
