    Hi guys,

    We use WF Central for all our websites.
    I get this error on a specific website:

    Unable to communicate with Wordfence plugin. Please verify Wordfence is installed and activated on this site.

    I searched this error, and I confirm that:
    1. Server is Linux;
    2. I already tried the console “WFAD.ajax(‘wordfence_wfcentral_disconnect’, {}, function() {});” command;
    3. I already white-listed the WF Central IP addresses in Cloudflare, and now Cloudflare is paused to avoid any conflict;
    4. I already removed the site from WF Central and tried again;
    5. Out hosting confirmed that the IP addresses are not blocked.

    Nothing solved, what can we try?

    Thanks
    Daniele

    Also:
    6. reinstalled WordFence plugin;
    7. delete connection data from Tools.

    Thanks

    Hello @dabesa and thanks for reaching out to us!

    Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

    Thanks again!

    Thanks for sending that diagnostic!

    When I try to test your REST API access, I am getting a critical error.

    https://YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-json/wordfence/v1 should display a few lines of code, but instead is showing that error. Central will need access to the REST API to connect. I usually see themes hog the REST but I have also seen other plugins cause issues with it as well. Once you get connect to Central, you wont need the REST to be open anymore.

    Let me know what you find!

    Thanks again!
