    Good Day,

We just learned that Wordfence Central offers a plugin setting that is not available inside your actual plugin.

The Wordfence Central plugin setting is “Alert Type Configuration

The setting is not quite easy to spot or find. The path is:

Wordfence > Central > Dashboard > Click on Top Gear

Also, when we change the setting to “Yes”, we now receive two (2) emails when a User logs into their account: One email from Wordfence Central and one email from our site.

Can you guys look into this and advise?

Also, how can we deactivate User login emails received from Wordfence Central — no-reply[at]wordfence[dot]com — and only receive emails from our site — admin[at]mysite[dot]com ?

    Thank you!

Additional Information to Help You Evaluate This Topic:

We are also using the plugin WP Mail SMTP. We triple-checked WP Mail SMTP’s plugins settings. They are working great for all plugins that use email, except yours.

Specifically, the emails we’re receiving from no-reply[at]wordfence[dot]com are not being captured by WP Mail SMTP (we get it), so that’s why we would like to receive all email alerts (especially, the User login email alerts) from our site’s Admin email address, not Wordfence Central’s.

    Thank you!

    Hi @generosus,

The “Send alerts from individual sites?” setting is a global setting in Central, which is why it’s not in the plugin. It applies to all sites connected to that Central user’s account.

To get emails only from the plugin, set that to “Yes” and uncheck the Email column for each type of notification that you don’t want to get from Central.

    Thanks,

    Peter.
