Wordfence Central Sync State changes to “local Changes”

    Hello, in the last few days I connected 37 sites in the WordFence Central account. They all previously had their own WordFence running. I’ve noticed that the Sync State keeps changing from “in Sync” to “Local Changes”. If I go to the Template itself, I see that it also says “Local Changes” so I’m thinking I’m missing a detail.

    One other thing of note is that some sites have different percentages for the Firewall. Shouldn’t they all be the same if using the same Template?

    Hello @jaypeg and thanks for reaching out to us!

    This seems to currently be an issue with Central, as we have seen this a few times. What is happening in the site is not updating from the template, which is causing the issue of the local change. Our QA team is currently working on a resolution for this issue.

    As for your firewall question, the firewalls will have to be optimized on all the sites Wordfence > Firewall pages, manually. The template is simply a preset list of settings that you can push to all your sites simultaneously.
