    Hi,
For a few weeks I was having issues with the Elementor Default Kit ( a template that controls the global settings) being duplicated/deleted/replaced spontaneously, leaving my site looking bad (e.g. fonts, colors, borders changed). This happened every few days, and Elementor support suggested I deactivate Wordfence. I did that ten days ago and have not had a problem since, leading me to believe that Wordfence was changing site files. I would like to re-activate Wordfence but to do that I need to know what is going on. Thoughts?
    Thanks!

Hello @savethefrogs and thanks for reaching out to us!

It could be possible that Wordfence might be blocking some of these actions by Elementor thinking they might be XSS attacks.

We can try to use Learning Mode to teach it these actions are normal. From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/ is an amazing resource for learning more about the WAF and learning mode.

Let me know what you find!

    Thanks!
