Wordfence disappeared, can’t reinstall, can’t connect with FTP

    Wordfence disappeared from my WordPress site. Won’t reinstall. I read in these forums that I should connect via FTP and rename the Wordfence folder, and then reinstall.

    Don’t have any idea how. Tried to connect with Filezilla. Don’t even know what I’m supposed to be connecting to. Can’t do it via the name of my site. Don’t have anything from WordPress giving me any FTP credentials or location.

    I went to my DNS and used EasyWP from there to get an FTP login. Renaming the Wordfence folder didn’t work so I browsed around and deleted everything to do with Wordfence. I was then able to reinstall it.

    We’ll see how long it is before something else goes wrong, with me not even touching my site in the meantime.
