    I’m wondering if Wordfence has a bug in its reporting. I have a number of sites using the product, but two of them sometimes send out 20 or 30 or 40 emails in a day telling me I “don’t” need any updates. What’s the point?

    Sometimes it’s once every five minutes or so; today I’ve received four at exactly the same time – twice!

    It’s not much fun waking up in the morning and having to delete 40 emails that say nothing important.

    Are these websites also added to Wordfence Central? They could be duplicating the emails that are sent out.

    For the sites that are giving you issues, make sure that you have All Options > Email Alert Preferences > Enable email summary set correctly. If it is, I recommend disabling all the email alert options, save the settings, then enable what you want, then save again. Sometimes this will retrigger the tables if they weren’t working properly.
