    Hi,

I used wordfence and ultimate member in my site.
When my user want to upload image for profile or header in ultimate member account, it’ll show error and image does not uploaded.
When i tried to disable firewall, it work like a charm.

How to add whitelist in this process?

Hello @cheersindonesia and thanks for contacting us!

If you are having issues while the firewall is enabled, but it seems to work fine while it’s disabled, the firewall may need to be put into “Learning Mode” to learn that these actions are normal on your site.

Follow these steps for “Learning Mode”:

    • Navigate to “Firewall” – “Manage WAF”. Set the Firewall to “Learning Mode”.
    • Now Perform the action that was causing the errors. *Important*: if this is an action that a site visitor would do, be sure to use a browser that is not logged in to the site.
    • Put the Firewall back into “Enabled and Protecting Mode” via the Firewall Manage WAF page.
    • Try the action again to make sure it was whitelisted properly.

Post your results here and we can further assist you if that doesn’t fix your issue.

    Thanks!

    hi @wfsupport & @wfadam

    Thanks for your quick answer.

I already tried to put into “Learning Mode”, but i still got error.
How long it will take that actions into whitelist?

Were you able to upload an image as a user (not a logged in admin eg: In a browser that was not logged in) with the firewall in learning mode?

    nope

So learning mode doesn’t allow the upload but turning off the firewall does? Or did you mean deactivating Wordfence?
