    Hi there,

I’m trying to setup a website that has basic auth, but I don’t find where to place the user/password on the plugin settings, and it currently says “Scan Stage Failed”. So my questions is, this this plugin supports Scan for website protected with username/password. And if so, where do I enter the username and password?

    Thanks for the help

Please remove the basic auth and see if that fixes it. If it does then you will need to leave it removed as our plugin cannot bypass it.

I can’t remove the basic auth, I have that for a reason.

What I understand is that Wordfence does not support website with basic auth, which is fine; I’ll look for another service that does. It would be a nice to have, so if you can pass this along to the product team, maybe they’ll include that feature someday.

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi @xicoofficial

    Thank you for the update.

Our plugin can’t operate if you are blocking it so we hope you find an alternative that you are happy with.
