    What is this???

    • [Dec 28 21:52:38]  Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/46/d583478397/htdocs/ccweb/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 222 0

Wordfence ran a scan and this was posted ABOVE the results of the scan, which there were none. How do I fix this? Is it a problem?

Hi @exdesign, thank-you for reaching out!

That line is part of the WordPress plugins API. It’s likely you have another plugin installed that’s using one of the filters in the plugins API, and returning a bad/unexpected value.?It could be a non-repository plugin that tries to manage its own updates, and whilst the non-fatal PHP warning shouldn’t hurt anything in the scan, the plugin causing it may not be working/updating properly.

You could try disabling plugins one-by-one and running manual scans until the page stops reporting this to find out the possible cause.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
