Wordfence free/block user agent go-http-client?

    I’ve been getting bandwidth warning on my website. My web host track it down to a user agent go-http-client doing 100s of downloads per day. Is there a way of blocking this agent on wordfence free?

    Hi @chrismacor, thanks for getting in touch!

    You can block by “Browser User Agent” in the Wordfence > Firewall > Blocking tab and selecting Custom Pattern. You can then type go-http-client, give a brief Block Reason and hit the blue “BLOCK VISITORS MATCHING THIS PATTERN” button to save changes.
