wordfence free worked 7 days than stopped

  • wordfence free plugin active for 7 days, now it is inactive and will not update unless i switch to Premium – Really?

    Can anyone offer advice, why wordfence plugin is no longer active on our site?

    Hi @kvncrll, thanks for reaching out!

    The free version of the plugin has no time limit or necessity to update to Premium after a certain period of usage. Wordfence doesn’t deactivate itself in WordPress’ Plugins page either so it would be worth checking that you’re on a host that doesn’t specifically name Wordfence as unsupported. If that’s not a factor, ensure you’ve correctly obtained the free license key and accepted our terms of service as shown in a video here:
