    Today Wordfence (which had been working fine) will not load and creates the following error message:

    Warning: require_once(/home/mobilecarpetshow/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/Diff.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mobilecarpetshow/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceClass.php on line 6

    Line 6 is: require_once(dirname(__FILE__) . ‘/Diff.php’);

    I have checked this line against other installations and it appears to be normal.

    Can you advise please.

    I have just rolled back to Version 7.4.3 and this has temporarily resolved the issue so it’s an issue with version 7.4.4.

    Hi @roger-green,

    This seems to be caused by an update that was interrupted – causing some files to be missing. In this situation, can you reinstall Wordfence (which will be the newest version), and see if that works?

    In a lot of cases we’ve seen, this has been caused by the web-server LiteSpeed killing the WOrdfence update before it finishes. If you’re using LiteSpeed, there’s a guide that will prevent future updates from breaking your site.

    Thank you. I have updated the plugin to 7.4.4 and this time all seems to be working.
