Hello, we have been using WordFence for quite a while and although the version number for reCaptcha has not changed, WordFence recently (12/15/2023) reported that the content of some files has. Fortunately, the changes seem to match what is in GitHub for V1.73, and many of the changes are cosmetic (removing comments, etc) – the GitHub location for anyone interested is: https://github.com/bestwebsoft/google-captcha-recaptcha-wordpress-plugin

One of the most potentially significant issues appears to be a difference in what I have noticed that starts in in line 377 of wp-content/plugins/google-captcha/includes/forms.php, in which a test for and definition of function “gglcptch_password_form_display” is completely gone.

So, my concern is, is this because of the issues that BestWebSoft is having with www.ads-software.com? It seems likely these changes somehow cropped up because of that, and now the version that WordFence is calling “The Original Version of the file” is not actually the last version downloaded.

I hope this makes sense! And thank you in advance for any thoughts!

Thank you, as I suspected. Closing this item. Happy New Year!
